Cooking Greek in Ithaca
As we said before you would need to take some things with you. Furthermore, there is another option.
Come and join us in our cooking classes in the village of Stavros, Ithaca, Greece. Create and enjoy authentic, organic Greek dishes from handpicked ingredients to immerse yourself in the Greek culture.
The dishes you will cook are part of a Mediterranean diet, which have many health benefits such as:
- reduced risk of heart disease and strokes
- increase longevity and agility
- reduced risk of Alzheimer and diabetes
All herbs and seasonal products used in the class and at the restaurant are from local, organic island growers. The classes will take place in the garden for you to be able to enjoy touching and smelling the herbs and vegetable that you will be cooking with.
The lesson includes:
- a tour of the garden
- a cooking demonstration
- all recipes will be provided
Our menu’s are authentic, seasonal and local adjusted based on the seasonality of the ingredients. We offer 5 menu’s throughout the year.
Cooking classes are open to all those visiting the island based on according to availability.
We offer those staying at Porto Ithaki the opportunity to choose 2 menus during your 4-day stay.
